This lady was born without a lateral incisor on her left side and had a peg shaped lateral on the right side. This caused the smile to look imbalanced. She wanted to improve her smile but keep things natural. We whitened the teeth and then used composite bonding to camouflage the left canine as a lateral and the premolar as a canine to make it look like she had the right teeth in the right place. We also built up the peg lateral. These cases can be challenging as her teeth are very natural looking so we used a layering approach with the composite to ensure the work blended in with the beautiful natural teeth around them.
